Best Fall Baby Shower Themes

If you’re looking for a last minute shower gift, always go with the Ingy Bingy Band! This pacifier wristband velcros around baby’s wrist to help them self-soothe from as early as 4 months!

We had a woodland themed baby shower for my sister earlier this month. Her mother-in-law was fantastic with invitations, decorations, desserts, and the photo wall! Everything had the same prints and the colors all matched so well. It was a beautiful day showering my sister and brother-in-law. If you’re planning a baby shower for fall (your own or for a friend/family member) we’ve got some sweet ideas for you!

1. Pumpkins: Who doesn’t love all things pumpkin during the fall! This is an adorable theme that can be simple and fun!

Invitations: We’re adding one more pumpkin to the patch! There are plenty of pumpkin themed invitations out there! You can even make your own on Canva or Word if you’re feeling creative!

Decor: Decorations can be so simple with a pumpkin theme. Pumpkins, hay bales, and decorative fall leaves will make any place feel like fall! Light some pumpkin scented candles and you and your guests will be in heaven!

Food: Everything pumpkin! Pumpkin donuts, pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup or even pumpkin spice latte if you really want to wow your guests!

Games: Guess how many pumpkin seeds are in a jar? Whoever wins gets a prize and the mom to be gets a prize too! Get tiny pumpkins for everyone to paint! They can all paint a guess for baby’s name somewhere on their pumpkin! The parents to be get to take all the pumpkins home!

2. Apples: This is sure to be a sweet theme!

Invitations: Our baby is the apple of our eye! There are many apple themed invitations out there, but if you are trying to save money or can’t find one you love you can make your own on Canva or Word!

Decor: Use apples for anything and everything! Poke a toothpick in an apple with a sign for which food is which. Make a beautiful apple center piece by placing a few flowers mixed in with a circle of apples and cinnamon sticks.

Food: Everything apple! Apple pie, applesauce, apple muffins, apple cider! The list goes on and on!

Games/Activities: Decorate onesies! Bring apple/fall stencils for everyone to paint for the little baby! Bring different sizes so there aren’t 25 of the same size!

3. Football: This fall theme is sure to keep everyone laughing! What a fun day this will be if you have a football themed baby shower!

Invitations: Game day is almost here! A mock ticket to a game would be a perfect invitation for this theme!

Decor: Small field goal posts for food signs, football garland, black eye stickers to match your football jersey!

Food: Classic football game food is perfect for a football themed shower. Buffalo chicken dip, wings, onion rings, and pigs and a blanket are all great options!

Games/Activities: Bring a football for all the guests to sign! Set up a couple of stations for bags (cornhole) and your guests will be occupied for hours!

4. S’mores: Isn’t everything just s’more fun with a baby?! This theme is just darling!

Invitations: Adding S’more love to our family! There are some gorgeous templates out there, but always remember you can make your own too!

Decor: “s’more love to go around” banner, logs and sticks will also look great with a s’mores theme

Food: S’mores cupcakes, a s’mores bar, or even a s’mores charcuterie board with different types of graham crackers, chocolate bars, and marshmallow dip! You can go full bonfire themed as well with hotdogs too if you’re offering a meal as well.

Games/Activities: S’more items scavenger hunt! Hide chocolate bars, marshmallows, and graham crackers around your location. The person who finds the most wins a prize and so does mama! Have each guest write a love note to baby about why they will make their family have s’more to love!
